Adventurer's Pocketbooks

As a full-time nerd and enjoyer of the fantasy genre, I’ve played my fair share of tabletop games (e.g. Dungeons & Dragons) and LARPs.

Even though these stories rely heavily on printed information and imagination, I sometimes find the design of official materials to be lacking. So I challenged myself to create a series of notebooks for players that would fit perfectly into the fantasy worlds they explore.

Each cover design holds a significance for the setting it comes from, be it D&D classes or Imperial magic realms and runes.

They all start as scribbles in my sketchbook, before I create vector versions in Adobe Illustrator and have hot foiling plates machined.

Each design is then hot foil stamped onto luscious G.F. Smith paper, and the book is finished with a hand sewn spine.

Since there are so many classes and species to choose from, I’m making my way through as many of the popular ones as I can. There’s a notebook for every kind of player!

I currently sell the books on my Etsy shop, where they have proved popular. You can see all my available designs there.
