What does grief look like in the digital age? How can we better support those experiencing it for the first time?
A concept from a project exploring digital grief, You Were Here is an interactive memory map. A website where users are encouraged to mark places where they feel connected to someone who has passed away.
Primarily aimed at teens and young adults, the site would be free and open for all to contribute to, or simply browse others’ entries, keeping the digital candles lit and the memories alive.
As this was a project exploring UX as well as UI and branding design, I created several user flows and wireframes to demonstrate the steps a user would take to perform various tasks on the site.
